The Australian Academy of Liturgy is an ecumenical association of specialists in Christian Liturgy and related disciplines, with a particular commitment to the understanding and development of liturgy in the Australian context.
"The Word in Worship" is the title for the 2015 Biennial Conference of the Australian Academy of Liturgy to be held in Brisbane this coming January. Featuring keynotes from Ms Geraldine Doogue, Associate Professor Gerard Moore, Dr Tom Elich and Bishop Garry Weatherill, this conference will explore aspects of the Word in liturgy - praying, preaching, singing and seeing.

The Catholic Diocese of Wollongong have announced a Certificate Course in Pastoral Liturgy. The Course is nominally 600 hours, comprising three core units (Assembly, Word and Eucharist) and one of two elective units (Liturgical Music and Christian Initiation). The course will commence in February 2015.
