Around the Chapters ...
The WA Chapter met in March with good numbers present. They are currently working through “Christian Worship in Australia” and sharing experiences of various liturgies in which members are involved including John’s prison liturgies.
The SA Chapter is to have its first meeting for 2010 in April, looking at Boris Geldof’s paper on the Liturgical Year.
The NSW Chapter met in March. At the moment most members attending are Roman Catholic and an invitation is warmly extended to Anglicans, Lutherans and Uniting Church members to come to future meeting in 2011. Paul Mason provided a briefing on music for the new translation of the Roman Missal, and David Orr will speak on the 2011 conference topic at the next meeting. John Bunyan celebrated his 50th Jubilee. Hunter (Carmel):
The Queensland Chapter had its first meeting for 2010 in February. (Meetings are held every 2 months.) The meeting looked at an audio visual presentation on the Societas Liturgica Congress and discussed the paper “Who will bury me?” suggested by Elizabeth because of relevance to conference theme.
